1. About Studix

Studix is an educational technology platform designed to help learners organise study materials, use cloud storage, manage workspaces and notebooks, and access AI-assisted tools that support productive learning.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features over time. While we strive to maintain a reliable service, Studix is provided on an evolving basis and may change as we improve the platform.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating or using a Studix account and must be legally permitted to use online services in your jurisdiction.

Registration and login are available through Google Sign-In only. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs through your Studix account.

Each account is personal to one user. Creating multiple fake accounts, impersonating others, or registering accounts on behalf of undisclosed third parties is prohibited.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Studix only for lawful, educational, and good-faith purposes. You must not upload content that violates applicable law, infringes intellectual property rights, contains malware, or harms other users or the platform.

You must not attempt to hack, probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or otherwise interfere with Studix systems. Any attempt to cheat, exploit vulnerabilities, or circumvent technical restrictions is strictly forbidden.

4. Free Plan Limits

Users on the free plan are entitled to two (2) AI processing requests per calendar day unless otherwise stated on the platform at the time of use.

You may not exceed, bypass, or evade this limit through scripts, multiple accounts, shared access, or any other method. Abuse of free-tier limits undermines the service for other learners and may result in immediate enforcement action.

5. Paid Plans and Billing

Paid subscriptions provide additional features and higher usage allowances as described on the upgrade page at the time of purchase. Prices, limits, and plan names may change, but any active subscription you have purchased will be governed by the terms shown at checkout unless otherwise required by law.

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payment, as described in our Payment Policy. Studix does not store your full card credentials. Subscriptions activate instantly upon successful payment.

6. Plan Upgrades and Credits

If you upgrade from a lower paid plan to a higher paid plan, any remaining balance or unused allowance from your current plan may be applied automatically as credit toward the upgraded plan, in accordance with our billing rules at the time of upgrade.

This policy is intended to ensure fair treatment when you choose to move to a more capable plan before your existing benefits are fully consumed.

7. Account Sharing Prohibited

Your Studix account is licensed for individual use only. You may not share, resell, lend, or otherwise make your account available to another person, whether for free or for compensation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that show evidence of shared credentials, coordinated abuse, or use patterns inconsistent with a single legitimate user.

8. Your Content and Responsibilities

You retain ownership of the study materials and content you upload, subject to the limited rights needed for Studix to host, process, and display that content so we can provide the service to you.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for ensuring you have the right to use and store it on Studix. We may remove content or restrict access where we reasonably believe it violates these Terms or applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

The Studix name, logo, software, design, and platform features are owned by Studix or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service as intended, no licence is granted to you to copy, modify, or redistribute Studix materials.

10. Privacy and Data Practices

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Studix, you acknowledge that we store your account and uploaded content on secure institutional infrastructure and that we do not operate an advertising-based business model.

You agree not to misuse other users’ data or attempt to access information that does not belong to you.

11. Security and Google Authentication

Because Studix relies on Google Sign-In, the security of your Google account directly affects the security of your Studix account. Studix is not responsible for unauthorised access that results from a compromised, stolen, or poorly secured Google account.

You must notify Google immediately if you believe your login credentials have been compromised and take reasonable steps to secure your devices.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Studix at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, abused platform limits, created fraudulent accounts, attempted unlawful access, or harmed the service or other users.

In serious cases, we may cooperate with legal authorities and pursue available remedies under applicable law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studix and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, loss of profits, or account compromise outside our reasonable control.

Studix is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, though we work diligently to maintain a high-quality educational experience.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the platform where appropriate.

Continued use of Studix after updated Terms are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
