Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 26, 2026
Studix is an educational platform built to help students and learners organise study materials, use AI-assisted tools, and work productively in a secure environment. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information, what we do not do with your data, and the responsibilities we take seriously as the operator of the service.
We encourage you to read this policy carefully. By using Studix, you acknowledge that you have reviewed this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms, together with our Terms of Service.
1. Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Your trust matters to us. Studix is designed with a privacy-first mindset: we do not sell your personal information, we do not share your data with unrelated third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not operate an advertising business on our platform.
We collect and retain only what is reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, process your study content, and keep the platform secure and reliable.
2. How We Store Your Information
Content you upload, workspaces you create, and account-related records are stored on secure infrastructure operated for Studix. We are responsible for safeguarding this data using access controls, encryption in transit, and industry-appropriate security practices.
We continuously work to protect stored information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we treat the protection of your data as a core operational obligation.
3. No Unnecessary Data Collection
Studix does not engage in broad, invasive profiling of users. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not collect information beyond what is needed to deliver the educational features you choose to use.
If a data element is not required to operate a feature you have requested, we do not collect it merely for commercial exploitation.
4. No Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to outside companies. We do not share your files, study content, or account details with unrelated third parties for their own marketing or analytics purposes.
Limited technical partners may process data strictly on our behalf—for example, cloud hosting or payment processing—only to the extent required to provide the service and only under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
5. An Advertising-Free Platform
Studix is completely free of third-party advertisements. Whether you use a free plan or a paid subscription, you will not see ad networks, sponsored placements, or tracking-driven promotional content inside the platform.
Our business model is based on providing educational value, not on monetising your attention through ads.
6. Account Access Through Google Sign-In
Studix supports account registration and login through Google Sign-In only. We do not maintain a separate Studix password system. Authentication is handled through Google’s secure login flow.
Because your Studix account is linked to your Google identity, you are responsible for protecting your Google account credentials, recovery options, and devices. Studix cannot prevent access that results from a compromised Google account, and we are not responsible for unauthorised activity arising from stolen or misused Google login credentials.
7. Free Plan Usage Limits
Users on the free plan are limited to two (2) AI processing requests per day. This limit exists to keep the platform fair, sustainable, and available to genuine learners.
Attempting to bypass daily limits—through automation, repeated account creation, technical manipulation, or any other method—is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of access.
8. Prohibited Conduct and Enforcement
Any attempt to hack, reverse engineer, exploit, cheat, or otherwise manipulate Studix in an unlawful or unauthorised manner is forbidden. This includes creating large numbers of fake accounts, abusing free-tier limits, interfering with platform operations, or attempting to access data belonging to other users.
We reserve the right to investigate suspected abuse and to take appropriate action, including account suspension, permanent bans, and referral to law enforcement or legal counsel where warranted. Serious or repeated violations may expose you to civil or criminal liability under applicable law.
9. Educational Purpose of Studix
Studix is an educational platform dedicated to simplifying learning workflows through organised storage, workspaces, notebooks, and responsible use of artificial intelligence. Our tools are intended to support legitimate study and productivity—not misuse, spam, or non-educational exploitation.
We may update features and policies as the platform evolves, always with the goal of improving the learning experience while maintaining strong privacy standards.
10. Paid Subscriptions and Account Use
When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed through our payment provider as described in our Payment Policy. Subscriptions activate immediately upon successful payment.
If you upgrade from one paid plan to a higher tier, any remaining balance or unused allowance from your previous plan may be credited automatically toward your upgraded plan so you retain fair value from your prior purchase.
Each Studix account is intended for a single individual user. Sharing your account with others for any purpose is not permitted.
11. Policy Updates
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or platform features. When we make material updates, we will publish the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
Your continued use of Studix after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
12. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, please contact Studix Support through the Contact Us option on our website. We will do our best to respond clearly and promptly.
